Two staff members pack bracken into Skomer Vole traps with two participants.
We kicked off our events schedule this week with a fantastic few days in partnership with @officialblack2nature, with 14 young people joining us for three nights.
We're so proud of everything they learnt and for throwing themselves so enthusiastically into the events.

A poster showing Skomer's gay birds. It reads 'Skomer's Gay Bird Checklist: The following checklist includes our breeding species that cross-reference with the list of birds displaying homosexual behaviour (Bagemihl, 1999). Kittiwake, Shelduck, Razorbill, Jackdaw, Guillemot, Shag, Raven'. There are pictures of each bird and an outline of Skomer filled in with a Progress Pride flag.
Happy Pride Month to all who celebrate! Everyone is welcome on Skomer - diversity and inclusion are a cornerstone of what we do.
To celebrate, we've cross-referenced our breeding bird species with birds displaying homosexual behaviour (Bagemihl, 1999) to produce a Skomer Gay Bird Checklist.
