Once upon a time, the snow started to fall. It fell all day and all night. The sky became endlessly grey. Only slight changes in tone to tell when the sun was risen. And with it, the brightness of the snow lied to those living in it; the reflection of what little light there was making the world constantly glow. Most stayed inside. Most stayed warm. Most wished for spring to arrive. But some did not. Once upon a time, the snow started to fall. And with it, the Viera knew it was her one chance to sieze power. While others stayed warm and hidden, she marched through the wilderness without a care. Whispers followed her. Whispers of missing souls lost to the snow, and of mists which told of her coming. Mother's warned their children to stay inside, or the Viera who could not feel the cold would catch them! If you see burdgandy on the horizon it was her coat, and if she was close enough for you to see the flashes of gold ornate details and the patch which covered one eye it was too late... But some did not stay inside. And so the mists that told of her coming grew. Once upon a time, the snow started to fall... ---------------------- ~I might be a little sleep deprived~
