Paramount has long-standing relationships with Kino Lorber, Shout, Vinegar Syndrome, and Criterion. They and WB are probably the most active at releasing and licensing titles from their libraries.

Granted this may still change but Paramount is pretty good with physical media and restorations including licensing obscure stuff to 3rd party distributors.

The good part with the WB sale to Paramount: The continuation of the theatrical window and, likely, physical media.

The bad part: Literally everything else.
