Making two 2.5 hour movies out of one 2.5 hour play was always going to be a bad idea.

Use this as a pallette cleanser. My friend Jeff made it.

Can you not make it yourself?

At least in the US it got a brief theatrical release through Array Releasing, which means Netflix doesn't own it outright.

Yeah I just had a package from them that has to be resent because it never made it to me. The courier didn't notify me until a day later that it was delivered.

TeePublic uses some weird fly-by-night shipping partner that doesn't properly notify when packages arrive and doesn't leave packages in secure areas.

Larry Ellison looks like the evil banker villain in a young Kurt Russell Disney movie.

Paramount has long-standing relationships with Kino Lorber, Shout, Vinegar Syndrome, and Criterion. They and WB are probably the most active at releasing and licensing titles from their libraries.

Granted this may still change but Paramount is pretty good with physical media and restorations including licensing obscure stuff to 3rd party distributors.

A decent chunk of Golan-Globus Cannon productions too.

Paramount Skydance Poised to Acquire Warner Bros. Discovery After Netflix Bows Out of Bidding War Paramount Skydance is poised to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery now that Netflix has declined to increase its existing offer valued at $83 billion.

To other film festivals out there, especially those of you that regularly platform films from the major studios. Now seems like a great time to NOT DO THAT. If three total companies are going to own the world we all have a responsibility to work harder than ever to discover and platform new voices.

The good part with the WB sale to Paramount: The continuation of the theatrical window and, likely, physical media.

The bad part: Literally everything else.

Oh, and any hope for an uncut 4K restoration of Ken Russell's THE DEVILS? Not gonna happen under this regime.

Yup. The Zuckers actually bought the rights to Zero Hour because the plot, some characters, and even some dialogue is cribbed directly from it.

This movie opens with a coke-addicted drug sniffing dog getting Babe and Mrs. Hoggett body cavity searched at an airport. I'm not joking.

A still of Ed O'Neill as Al Bundy in the MARRIED: WITH CHILDREN episode "God's Shoes," where after a near death experience, Al comes back with a vision of a hideous pair of shoes he claims he saw on the feet of God, and he makes and tries to market them. In the end it turns out the shoes were worn by a spirit named Sid who tried to sell the shoes in 1925 and also failed.
