One of my friend's mum made this quilt for me since I'm going into surgery next week and she makes them for anyone in the family going into surgery and I almost cried in the parking lot when he gave it to me ooouuuuu

And a Fun Tip for those getting a CT scan: Tell your tech giving you the imaging dye if you're one of the people who Smell it, or Taste it. It's very exciting for them to learn which kind of person you are (I smell it VERY strongly, but don't taste anything, apparently that's real cool)

If anything let this be a lesson to anyone with health anxiety: Tumor markers for me were stupidly elevated and it turned out to be a cyst with an ego. Bodies are weird and even if something seems DEFINITE AND FOR SURE, there's basically always a benign reason for it as well

like yeagh I did go to the ER but I could still walk and talk, and I rated my pain as a pretty consistent 7/10- it's distracting me and definitely the focus of my attention and DID cause me to lose sleep, but one would think torsion would be like. 9/10, right?

and that's got me thinking: Am I just pain tolerant? If Righty was really inflaming that ovary that much, shouldn't I have been in CRIPPLING PAIN, UNABLE TO WALK SORTA SHIT? like the markers have returned to normal levels since my ER visit so it really was just that ONE DAY

in related news when was anyone gonna tell me that ovarian cysts can cause OVARIAN TORSION and flip a wholeass ovary upside down, thereby causing tumor markers to rocket into the sky on blood tests? That's abysmal. "Your tumor markers are about 1000x what they should be" AND IT WAS A CYST!!

It's so wild looking back at my earlier musings when we were leaning towards Righty being a tumor and not a cyst. But since then a specialist has seen it and gone "That is an orange-sized cyst and that shit's GOTTA come out"

Righty is a liar and charlatan and will be evicted for its crimes

I slept weird last night so Righty the Ovarian Cyst is giving me some grief but lemme tell u. It's so freeing knowing the source of your body pain and knowing it'll be resolved in T-minus 11 days

You have less than 2 weeks to cause me pain and then you'll be torn asunder in a lab, fucknuts

My favorite Earthbound enemy is hands-down the Ghost of Starman. Maybe that's a vanilla answer but god he's so cool. He opens the fight with Starstorm Alpha and if you LIVE THAT he'll smile, count down, and then hit you with Starstorm Omega. God he's so cool
