A party has decided to experimentally break from this law and tradition, and for some reason I will never understand, the advocates for such radical change are called "conservative."

Republicans have come a long way from "taxation is theft."

Indicting over illegal military strikes against civilians might have much more widespread acceptance, but the limitations ran out many years ago, and Trump would go down on the same charges for acts much more recent. I can't believe either major party would stand for that.

Mike Johnson's official bio says he has "two decades of previous experience in Constitutional law." Yet, when Trump threatens to execute Democratic members of Congress, he suddenly has no opinion.
