It's not going to be a podium finish for Canada’s Maïa Schwinghammer.
She just got knocked out of the top-three with two skiers to come.
But it's a great showing for Saskatoon's Schwinghammer.
Canada’s Maïa Schwinghammer is in the silver medal position with four skiers to come.

Saskatoon’s Maïa Schwinghammer has secured a spot in the women’s moguls final. Only the top-8 moved on. Maïa got the job done.

A word for the two women who played in the mixed doubles curling Olympic gold medal game.
Isabella Wranå shot 97%. Alongside her brother, she was unstoppable leading Sweden to gold.
Cory Thiesse became the first woman in American history to win an Olympic curling medal.
Just two months ago Canadian ice dancer Piper Gilles questioned the judging after placing 4th at the Grand Prix final.
“I am proud about speaking out and sharing my concern because if no one does it, nothing will change,” Gilles said.

Quad God delivers
A spectacular performance on this grand stage.
And Ilia Malinin shoots to the top of the standings with Yuma Kagiyama last to skate in the short program.
France’s Adam Siao Him Fa with the skate of the night so far.
He just told me he’s focused on finding joy and skating free.
He did indeed skate freely and joyfully and it was beautiful to watch.
We are down to the final flight in the men’s short program.
And with just six skaters left, Canada’s Stephen Gogolev sits in 5th place.
So at worst he’ll be in 11th spot going into the free skate

I’ve finally found and taken a photo with Tina, one of the two mascots here at the Milano Cortina Olympics, at the rink.
Onto hour 13 of coverage as we continue with the men’s short program.
Here’s a look at the men’s short program scores after 17 skaters.
Canada’s Stephen Gogolev currently in 3rd spot with 12 more skaters to come.
It’s been so great watching Gogolev making the most of his Olympic debut.
After the first period the Americans lead Canada 2-0 in this women’s hockey game.
USA looks energized and certainly the better team in the first 20 minutes.
Likely a tuneup to the gold medal game between these two.
