Sweden is into the gold medal mixed doubles curling game at the Olympics.

It’s a 9-3 victory for Sweden over Great Britain. Scored five in the 6th end and that was game over.

Great Britain into the bronze medal game for a second-straight Olympics.

Sweden just scored FIVE against Great Britain in the 6th end of the mixed doubles curling semifinal.

And that makes it 8-3 Sweden.

Great Britain, who was the class of the field all week, on the brink of a crushing semifinal loss.

And they couldn’t be in Beijing for Megan Oldham’s debut. But they’re here today for her bronze medal for Canada. Outstanding.

BRONZE FOR CANADA 🇨🇦

Megan Oldham, from Parry Sound, wins bronze for Canada in the women’s slopestyle event.

It’s her first Olympic medal in her second Games. And how about this, four years ago she missed qualifying for the final by one spot. Now she’s on the podium.

Jocelyn Peterman and Brett Gallant defeat Switzerland 8-4 to finish 4-5 at the Olympics.

Gallant curled 97% which bodes well as he now joins Team Jacobs for the men’s event.

This has been Canada’s best game in mixed doubles curling at the Olympics.

Jocelyn Peterman and Brett Gallant are leading Switzerland 8-4 heading to the final end after scoring three in the 7th.

A really nice way to end their Olympic experience.

The Canadian mixed doubles curling team is on the ice for the final time at the Olympics.

Peterman and Gallant have a 4-2 on Switzerland at the 4th end break.

Both Canada and Switzerland won't be advancing to the playoffs.

Maddie Schizas tells me she is very proud of how she recovered after an early mistake.

She has a lot of family here cheering her on tonight.

And her prof was great in his response about the assignment extensive. Wished her good luck. The assignment was worth 3% for the record.
