Native Americans are building their own solar farms For decades, Native Americans were reliant on the US government to bring them power. Now, that may be changing.

Native American tribes are leading the way in the clean energy transition, training community members and building out renewable infrastructure.

The path to energy sovereignty continues Indigenous communities’ legacy of environmental stewardship 🌳

This is both good and bad : more and more people are looking for help for their mental health. But the number of people who experience mental health issues is rapidly increasing and there’s not enough practitioners…and the help is also getting burned out and needs help.

Another one of my paintings from my butterfly series. Oil on linen. I’m interested in the infinite variety that I encounter in nature. On a walk in the rainforest rarely I see the same butterfly twice.

Without Reciprocity, Ayahuasca Consumption Is Extractive As COVID-19 devastates Amazonian communities, spiritual tourists are abandoning the cultures holding the sacred traditions of Ayahuasca.

Reciprocity is key to preserve what we are lucky to still have. Too many people in the field of psychedelics have an outdated colonialist approach toward the local healing traditions that have kept this medicine alive.

There were cities in the Amazon rainforest until the conquistadores came and brought small pox causing massive epidemics. Using agroforestry it was possible to have sustainable sources of food without cutting down the forest
