There's bike & car parking (inc Blue Badge spaces) available nearby at Park Street. Close by bus stops include Jesus Lane, Round Church St and Bridge St, for Busway, Park&Ride, & Citi buses. If you need help planning yr route, someone to walk with you from nearby, or funds for travel, get in touch.

You're welcome to bring children as long as you take responsibility for supervising them. We ask that you leave the meeting room with them if necessary to keep meeting disruption to a minimum. There is baby changing available (non-sex-segregated).

The other toilets are gendered; you can use the toilet of your preference. The venue will not be playing toilet cop.

A hearing loop is available - please let us know ahead of time if you'll need this. We don't have BSL interpretation for the meeting.

Water, hot drinks and snacks will be available.

We won't have an online option, but please DM/email us anything you'd like raising.

Access to the building and room is step-free. The building entrance doors are powered. There is a fully accessible toilet.

There'll be seating for everyone at the event. If the meeting runs beyond an hour we will have a comfort break; you'll be able to leave the room at any time for a break and re-enter. You can go into the foyer or kitchen if you need a quieter space.

(Yes even if its mild, even if its "just a cold" - some of your faithful organisers and comrades have medical history that plays poorly!!)

We ask all attendees to wear an FFP2/better mask unless unable. Bring your own if poss; we have some to give out. If you rely on lip-reading lerrus know so we can ask ppl to unmask while speaking; we've also got some clear panel masks.

Please don't come along if you're ill in ways unusual for you.

And if you're interested to know what we are cooking up next - we are hoping to hire a pool for a trans+queer swimming session, we want to do another life drawing event, there's *always* another clothes swap just arouns the corner, and we are planning a public open meeting this spring!

Our expenses can all be viewed on the open collective platform, and you'll see that our biggest expenditure is always venue hire. We work really hard to make sure that our events take place in venues with good accessibility and the best covid protections we can manage ❤️

We don't talk about this much, because it is vitally important that our events are free to attend and we never ever want attendees to feel pressured to pay for anything they come along to.

But TLC is entirely community funded, and you can chip in if you'd like to!

We currently use a little hall that has a side room with a curtain, and so far it's the only venue we've found that has a big space for clothes rails, and a small space alongside to use as a changing room.

If you know of somewhere that fits the bill in Cambridge, please get in touch!

Friends, we currently have one Really Good Location to do clothes swaps in, and it would be really nice to have options. Any venue we use needs to be accessible by wheelchair and be close to a bus route. Clothes swaps are trickier though, because we also need parking, and space to try clothes on.
