A photograph of a majestic oak tree, the lens used was one which I have made modifications to which has produced a distorted image of the tree rather than an entirely representative one.

An unusual photograph where the optical distortions are, in part due to modifications I made to the lens which I used to take it with.

Thanks, the leaves hang over my neighbours wall. I can see the colour intensifying day by day. Evening seemed the appropriate time to capture them.

Thank you, the conditions were really unusual that day. You really couldn’t see much. There was a lot of lens cleaning as the glass was constantly fogging over.

Thanks Gianfranco, I had been waiting some time to photograph these, considering the best way to perhaps do this. Such thick mist is unusual here so I made the mistake of of the opportunity. Glad you like it

Superb images

beautiful

A tiny white cloud hover over a mirror like lake flanked by hillsides covered in pine trees. The image is a monochrome image of blues tones, this so called "false colour" is due to the photograph being taken on a camera sensitive to infrared light.
