Left alone, the children get help from Aunt Trudy’s neighbor, Mrs. Richmond, who says the only way to get rid of chimney witches is by making a pot of giggle soup. The children must make giggle soup—and survive some hilarious soup mishaps—to rescue their beloved Aunt Trudy.
