The world is literally dying, life is too short to give a damn. If you hate drawing backgrounds maybe figure out why and change it?

Backgrounds can be just as stylized or realistic as you want them to be. What matters is they help tell the story and ground the reader into the scene itself. Give them a purpose and the reader will be happy too.

Since talk about drawing backgrounds in comics is going around again I wanna bring up the idea that they are really only as hard as you make them to be. Maybe stop trying to be ghibli and find yourself instead.

The best piece of advice i learned was to treat them as experiences.

I am always so thankful of everyone that I have met and become friends with, who have stood by me through my good days and bad, and also everyone who chooses to support me in what I do. Never in a billion years would I have ever dreamed I could be doing this, let alone doing it for 4 years.

This movie altered my brain chemistry as a kid and kick started me wanting to be an animator. My first tattoo here on my wrist was a tribute to it.

it took me till I was 30 to move out so I tend to have a lot of sympathy for people who dont have their career or otherwise figured out. I feel like having positive qualities and working hard do not always translate to financial success, especially recently

Fun fact: I drew this like two years ago and painted the octopus purple. But I thought purple looked corny so I painted over him teal. But then I realized he was the color of Squidward Tentacles and I got mad and stopped and forgot about this piece until now.
