Exactly! Everybody seems to forget that when they grabbed control of housing from the Feds they were given a whole bunch of money. Whatever happened to that.

You are blaming the Federal government. The provincial government is responsible for housing. Just wait until the Conservative premiers start complaining that the Federal government is stepping in their jurisdiction. The premiers want money without any conditions for housing.

When I taught Civics, I used Supreme Court cases to trace our expansion of rights to demonstrate democratic values.

If I were still teaching Civics today, I would need to place the concepts of 'precedent,' 'stare decisis,' and 'rule of law' in the trash bin.

You are right. During the last election our area flipped Conservative except for one riding. Not sure why Canadians want mini Trump as their PM.
