I got this with Cotton, who is somewhat notorious for his disinterest in engaging with constituents. I hope it means he's being flooded; I'm not convinced that he doesn't just leave it full on purpose. I ended up leaving a message at his Little Rock office.

Tom Cotton's D.C. voicemail box is full. I want to believe that's because he's gotten more calls than they can handle, but I suspect he just leaves it full because he's never had any interest in interacting with consituents.

If only I had that professorial power of brainwashing I've heard about, I'd like to brainwash DT into understanding that crashing Canada's economy on purpose will not magically make them want to be annexed by us; it just means they'll rebuild with absolutley any other trading partner in the world

"Purloin" is one of those verbs that really resists the present participle. "Bob's been purloining cats all month." "Emmaline will be purloining some expensive electronics for the cause." Amazing.

Maybe it's time for America to pull out the cartridge, blow in it, put it back in, smash the console with a hammer, and move into the forest.
