A Neolithic (Megalithic) ceramic coffin that stands on six legs and was surrounded by other pots inside the dolmen tomb.
Looking down from the top floor into the reconstructed landscape of the Sanganakallu mountain range. This tableau covers the centre of the main museum hall and highlights the many features of the inselberg and surrounding landscape.
One of the displays of the museum, this one showing the landscape features and the flora and climate.
If you are in South #India I recommend visiting the Sanganakallu Museum of #Archaeology in Ballari. One of the best museums of regional archaeology I've seen as it places the local material in the global context and has stunning displays. Staff are super friendly! #archaeology๐บ
