I spoke with the @scmpnews.bsky.social about stepping into the role of President of the Committee of 100. The core idea is simple. #ChineseAmericans should not be forced into false choices as U.S.–China tensions rise. We are Americans. Full stop.

This is the time for #journalism to abandon the idea that illumination drives accountability and begin changing the environment in which its work operates.
