Thanks! I try to make my refs now as 3D-modeling friendly as I can. I also like to add details on the side to clarify how patterns look, paws look, and anything else that is important information to keep in mind like how mouths look, etc.

Sometimes in life, you just need to draw species of wild mushrooms in your daily sketchbook for college to bring yourself just that little bit of joy and whimsy.

Also tip: loose, gestural lines seem to be very good for drawing mushrooms, especially morels and chicken of the woods.
