Yeah, id rather just lurk or have genuine conversations with people. social media fame is fake, but being a wonderful human being and sharing what we enjoy is very much real. We can do that at any follower count!

While I am all for this list, I do hope reports are being thoroughly investigated. I can see bad actors reporting a store of someone they don't like. So long as stores are looked at closely before being put on the list, it's a good thing.

One thing I do worry about is creators being falsely reported as well. Are reports being properly vetted? Also, something that happened to me recently is that a site that used to be reliable for fabric print textures started using AI. I had to throw out a lot of work just in case.

I always thought they were talking about things like marvelous designer, which yes, does simulate the shape and physics of the fabric, but it *is* different. But oh my God the reality of what AI mesh is... It's horrifying. Tech bros trample a key part of humanity and call it progress.

That much is true and slipped my mind. Step by step Tutorials are also a good way to prove yourself. If you can explain how something is drawn and show it, I think that should be good enough.

That is nice to think about... Though my laptop can't handle much screen recording. Perhaps after an upgrade. That being said, the patterns I make are stupid easy to draw. Literally swirls and circles/basic shapes. A schoolchild can imitate my art style. Never needed AI for cartoons and doodles.

I found some fabric patterns the other day and wanted to use them in my texture making... Only to find out that the site I got them from recently implemented AI. While I am greatful that it did push me to drawing some of my own instead, It made me sad and delayed one of my projects for several days
