I know I'm overweight, it's always been her biggest insecurity. I see my weight too and start to hate myself. I don't want to become her. Even if I'm overweight I don't want to give in and hate myself.

Mom, I don't want to loathe my body the way you do. I don't want to give in. I look in the mirror and I see you, and I love you. Why do you want me to hate you? To hate myself? How can I hate my reflection without also hating you in the process? There's so much of you in me.

Become critical. Her voice is in my ear, telling me everything that's wrong with me. That's wrong with her.
I'm supposed to loathe myself for being overweight, for smiling weird, for not tying my hair right, for doing my makeup haphazardly. I'm supposed to loathe her.

She taught me all along that her reflection, her body, her face, they're all repulsive. Everyone loves her and calls her a beautiful woman. She has a great relationship with my dad, who adores her. Yet, she has always hated her own body.

So when I see her in myself, in my reflection, I

Nowadays when I look in the mirror I often see my mother reflected back at me. In the end I grew up just like her.

But my mother has always had severe body image issues and been harshly critical of her own reflection.

So when I look in the mirror and see her, I'm conditioned to hate myself.

Full body versions of the designs on the main post. Big Al's lower half consists of ripped gray jeans, from which some stitches peek out, as well as gold-tipped red shoes, with black straps, golden buckles and skull adornments. Sweet Ann's lower half consists of her floor-length white gown, thigh-high floral stockings, and white platform maryjane heels, with golden details shaped like lyres, pearl studs on the front platforms, and blue gems affixed to the center of each one.

An reinterpretation of Vocaloid Big Al's design, focusing on emphasizing the Frankenstein's Monster elements present in the original box art while keeping the palette and personality of newer designs. He is a rather large man with white and brown hair, golden eyes and a cheeky grin. Stitching scars shaped like strings of stars line his forehead and underbust, and he is adorned with golden staples and piercings- one set in particular being two oversized nuts and bolts affixed to his hips. A large golden neckpiece, almost like a clunky apparatus of sorts, frame his neck, connected via tube to large headphones that seem to be attached to his head via nut-and-bolt, the entire thing strapped onto his chest with brown leather straps. His bolero jacket is red-and-white, with silver zippers and silver-and-gold studs; it is worn over a halter crop-top with asymmetrical sheer panels running down the middle. He wears two-tone gloves- black with red palms. Securing his gray jeans is a black belt with a golden buckle topped with a skull, matching the skull on his neckpiece. A golden chain with a red dangling strap is attached to his belt via a heart-shaped buckle.

She is a tall woman with blue eyes and blonde, slicked-back hair arranged in curls. Her golden headphones are ornately shaped- the right like a french horn and the left like a timepiece; The mic attached is topped with a glowing blue gem. A golden hatpin with a crown and blue gems on one end seem to be affixed through her entire head, reminiscent of the bolts from popular interpretations of Frankenstein. Stitching scars in the shape of strings of stars adorn her neck, arms and visible thigh like chokers and garters. Golden screws are attached to her shoulders, and pearls adorn her right cheek. She holds a golden microphone stand with one hand, her nails all sharp and gold, except for the one on her left middle finger, which is painted Royal Blue with her initials (S.A. for Sweet Ann) painted in gold atop of it. Her strapless gown is white with golden side details framing cutouts on the hip area, pintucks reminiscent of a musical staff running down the middle, and a singular thigh slit, from which her thigh sports a lacy floral stocking. A large, luxurious white fur stole with pearls sewn on it, as well as blue roses attached to various parts of her body, and a spiky golden halo complete the look.
