The smile you exchange with a stranger when you experience beauty accidentally together. Butterflies. Seeing your grandparents again. The moon in all her forms, whether half or full. Dogs. Birthdays and half-birthdays. That feeling of floating in love. Watching birds eat from bird feeders. The waves of happiness that follow the end of sadness. Brown eyes. Watching a boat cross an empty sea. Sunsets. Dipping your feet in the river. Balconies. Cake. The wind in your face when you roll the car window down on an open highway. Falling asleep to the sound of a steady heartbeat. Warm cups of tea on cold days. Hugs. Night skies. Art museums. Books filled with everything you do not yet know. Long conversations. Long-lost friends. Poetry.

I wrote this on one of the darkest days of my life. It gave me an anchor to hold onto.

I had some fraudulent unauthorised transaction on my card this morning… the first went through cos they were testing with $2, and the second got blocked cos I’m broke and don’t have enough credit 😂
Thankfully, it looks like I managed to block it before there were more successful transactions 🙏🏻

My 推し has said he will never act in films or drama. I hope he will consider voice acting because he has a beautiful voice and does amazing narration 🥰 Maybe Miyazaki Hayao (if he makes another film) or Shinkai Makoto can invite him for a cameo role in their next project? 🙏🏻✨

The effects of being told you have potential and need to apply yourself when you are already doing that at school may contribute to the feeling like you shouldn't relax as an adult as you aren't being productive in my current experience.

Took on additional hours to justify a holiday... not wise.

Calling ADHD a “superpower” is a privilege.

That doesn’t mean you can’t call it one, but understand that the ability to focus on strengths require resources that not everyone has the privilege to access

The path out of burnout usually isn't self-care, it's to do less.

Self-care can smooth the path in front of us, but it cannot create energy, spoons, or capacity where there is none. Only using less energy, spoons, or capacity can do that
