Ok, there was a period where you had to put your name and address on it because it was "non-transferable" although I don't think one ever had to prove who one was. But after that, it was JUST gender. So it was easy to share with someone presenting the same way, but harder otherwise

I remember when they had gender (M or F) on the bus passes in Chicago. They weren't otherwise personalized, it was just something you had to specify for some reason 🙃

Apparently it's gender essentialism. Andrews says that the problem is that women are not fitted to be leaders, while Sargeant says that women are forcing out men who ARE fitted to be leaders.

And then they had another more honest cop to testify to something, and he said he saw the scuffle break out from about a hundred feet off and he trotted over and it was over when he got there

There were convictions but just like assault, not attempted murder

So this one cop said this one protestor had punched him or hit him with a sign or something, and then they fought for FIVE MINUTES (I mean, time that out)

AND THEN he got the first one cuffed and he went to help this other cop to subdue a guy and that took FIVE MORE MINUTES

In one trial I attended, a scuffle had broken out between cops and protesters, and some of the protesters were charged with assaulting police with intent to kill. (These were heavily armed and armored police mind you)

To be fair, I don't think he had a choice (other than quitting)

I've seen this before myself more than once: cops on the stand CANNOT resist the temptation to overdramatize and embellish events, showing up what unserious liars they are
