My old espresso maker has been in service for a long time, and over the last few months I have been fixing all these small issues one after the other.

Yesterday an issue occurred where fixing it would involve total disassembly. Finally time for it to retire. Replacement already on its way.

Should we continue to encourage kids to go to college ? Or push them to take up a trade ?

I believe in college. Learning how to learn, IMO, is a critical life skill. Being exposed to people of different backgrounds, makes yiu wiser

My 2024 Wrapped – get yours 2024 Wrapped

I did start the second book in the trilogy as well, but it wasn't quite as captivating as the opener. Never even started the third volume, even if I have it laying around here somewhere.

I remember reading Wool way back, thinking that it it would make a great movie or series.

Now here I am watching Silo, and it is pretty good. the chronology of the story doesn't go exactly as I remember from the book, but that's fine. May just be my memory mixing it up as well.

Watching Civil War on Apple TV. Went in blind, without knowing anything about the movie.

This is not what I expected. Not the action film I thought it would be. Maybe it's just the gap in expectation, but this is kind of boring stuff.

This was my kind of place when I live there. I really miss this so much.
