Catbite - Doom Garden (Bad Time Records, 2025)
The new 12” EP from Catbite quickly became one of my favorite releases so far this year. Six songs, one side, it still takes you on a full ride. Catbite primarily mixes pop with ska on this record, to great effect on “Tired of Talk”

The second full-length from Scowl sounds a lot different than the first but I’m into it. The band experiments with various subgenres and sounds like they’re having a blast with it 🤘
