I always forget about this place. I still get more views at Facebook, so I never think to check here. I never do as well with new accounts as with the accounts I've had for decades. Is it still empty in here?
It's about as empty as threads... almost no engagement.
-To allow the delusion of religion, but to keep it in check, OUT of public affairs, and restricted like alcohol or p*rn to minors.
*People under 18 are more likely to take the violent and bigoted parts seriously.
...which can give us ways to prevent dying young, or losing control (or intentionally, temporarily losing it - with alcohol, drugs).
-To build a society where the safety and care of the common people come before those already wealthy enough to care for themselves.
-To experience love.
-To experience sex.
-To experience beauty, juxtaposed with pain.
-To value caring for the living.
-To make a pet's life easier.
-To embrace our feelings, while understanding them to be chemically based...
"What meaning can you get from existence as an atheist?"
-To make the lives of others, and ourselves better WHILE we're all alive, in real time, for decades.
-To figure out the best ways to continue the species through cooperation and sharing resources.
-creating art that outlasts our own lives.
