Popular Czech magazine Zázraky medicíny (Wonders of Medicine) dedicated 5 pages to an interview with our Marcela Hortová-Kohoutková and Jan Frič. They talk about the challenges of post-sepsis care and how the BEATsep project aims to identify and handle long-term complications in sepsis survivors.

Horizon Europe has dedicated 35 Million € towards projects tackling sepsis. We are proud to be part of the big picture to beat sepsis on a large scale, internationally and interdisciplinary! Presentation by Evangelos Giamarellos, past president of the European Shock Society.

CzechTV, Czechias main broadcaster, visited us to report about the official launch of BEATsepsis. The TV report is also available online and has so far been watched by more than 360.000 people! We are overwhelmed and grateful for the support and interest we are receiving from Czechia.

Eleven partners, six countries, one goal: to understand and address the long-lasting consequences of #sepsis. The International Consortium for Sepsis Survivorship @beatsepsis.bsky.social met for their first kickoff meeting and I am proud & excited to be a part of it with @lbitrauma.bsky.social !
