This visualisation of Eurobarometer data on identities via Alexia Katsanidou shows that regional or national identities come first. But, this one-dimensional view is limiting: many Europeans indicate they are European second. And I doubt that many Europeans would not miss their European privileges.

EVs could overtake petrol cars in Norway by end-2024 The number of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) on Norway's roads is on track to overtake petrol cars by the end of this year or in early 2025, in a first for any country, according to Reuters' and analysts' calculations.

Norway is shifting to BEVs. BEVs are poised to overtake gas cars by 2024-25 & diesel by 2026-27. Mind you that's in a cold climate where some will try to convince you batteries are not practical. 🧪🔌💡 www.reuters.com/business/aut...
