Good news! I’m finally breathing better today. Being outside is still rough cuz of the Santa Ana winds and dust and dander through the roof but I’m masking so it’s good.

Luckily they sent me home with a steroid pack and tamaflu but I can’t see my sister and nephew anymore… it sucks. People traveling right now please mask in the airports and airplanes. I didn’t mask when I saw my nephew who’s only a toddler and it’s highly likely that’s how I got sick. Big bummer.

Had a hard time breathing and my rescue inhaler wasn’t quite doing it. Went to urgent care and boom. As a diabetic with asthma and fun new allergies creeping up (oral allergy syndrome) I need to start thinking of myself as high risk. Today the smog in Pasadena is horrible. Thank god for air filters.

Tested positive for Flu A last night after 4 hours (3 more to go) in a tattoo chair for my first tattoo with my sister…. I thought I had a chest cold that I was through the worst of. I masked, checked in with the artist and felt good and then my sugar suddenly dropped and wouldn’t come up.

My sister is here visiting with my nephew and brother in law and they always stay with my grandma. I’ve been super happy seeing them but it’s been hard being around family with big differences of opinions politically. The topic of vaccines came up and I’m telling you I rolled my eyes soooo hard.

I decided right then and there I was gunna grow out my beard. I shaved bc of my public position I needed a minute to prepare for questions. 2 months later I started growing my beard and within a could of months I had a full beard. It was euphoric and I haven’t shaved since. I feel sexy as hell!🥰😎😏

Eventually with the help of my wife, fiancé and gorgeous trans friends I realized I was gender queer and then eventually trans nonbinary. I got Covid 2.5 years ago and knew I wouldn’t see anyone other than my partners and I barely had energy to feed myself so I didn’t shave for 2 week. Example:⏬️

I decided to try and grow out my facial hair. I had been shaving since I was 19. I was getting tired of the painful experience of waxing and it was expensive. One day I decided to try shaving and the surprise euphoria I felt blew me away. It reminded me of pretending to shave my face with my dad.🥹

I just found this photo in my favorite photos from Dec 2021… I was playing with Snapchat and boom the beard filter came up and I was obsessed… I remember just staring and not wanting to take it off the screen and wondering what that was about… eventually…

So apparently it doesn’t let you purchase tickets for an online event through the app…. Come on Eventbrite! What kind of weird shit is that?!
