it's just like reading guys who did sixth grade level book reports about The Spirit of the Laws and then made that their whole worldview. they had the intellectual acumen of a middle of the pack redditor!

"they knew so many languages" okay yes but if you read anything these people actually wrote it's clear that they understood nothing they read in any language lmao

more people need to internalize that the founding fathers were, beyond being moral abhorrent, complete and absolute pseuds

then find and read the programs for the last couple of conferences, since smaller orgs will often have affiliated panels through the central org conferences for the discipline. ultimately you do learn a lot of this stuff just via yapping tho ime

idk how this will work in your field, but one way is to find the biggest 1-2 conferences in your field (usually associated with the central 1-2 big orgs, which you can probably just find from poking around online. for philosophy would be APA with SPEP for continental, for ex)

Via ESPN and Kalyn Kahler, here is how the Eagles ranked in each category of the NFLPA survey.
The locker room is outdated. Seems like the guys want a plane with more first-class-type seating. A little surprised that Nick rates ahead of Jeffrey and Howie.

If everyone is attributing a claim to you that you don’t think you made, maybe you should learn to articulate yourself better instead of whining about how you’re being read

I think the case for Hunt is a little inflated by his counting stats from this year, tho. Fangio likes him as a chess piece who can drop in coverage etc, but if Fangio retires, Smith (whose peak as a pass rusher and run defender in 24 was far above Hunt’s in 25) if healthy could seem more appealing

Yes, that's what I'm replying to

my bet: high APY that will freak out fans, reasonable long-term cash/cap management with maybe 2-3 truly guaranteed years

25.02.2026 18:40 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

think it's too early for 2. Hunt's year was statistically impressive, but he's far from a pass rush specialist, while Smith, whose pass rush skillset is far above Hunt's, had an injury marred year. if Smith can put together an injury free season, they have to take his future w/ the team seriously

*brain so large my whole body is teetering over* Lazarus's politics at a remove from the state is crypto-catholicism, smuggling the principle of subsidiarity into the left-wing imaginary. can someone help me up

don’t have any feeling about Schuringa’s book, which I’ve really only heard about, but worth noting that this review of the book performs the exact kind of bad faith caricature of which it accuses Schuringa (all continentals painted with a Heideggerian brush, etc.)

the thing about turning the normativity of Marx or whichever radical thinker you like into a reheated Aristotle is that it usually just kind of sounds like you want to give the entire canonical history of western philosophy a do-over. which, like, come on
