Sixty years ago this week I had my first bellringing lesson. Wow, what an impact that almost chance happening (I only went to watch!) has had on my life. Many thanks to this group, especially to my friend David and of course Alan, both sadly like many in this picture no longer with us.

Unusually three ringing sessions today at three different towers, 2 down, 1 to go!

Just enjoyed three days #bellringing, 16 towers in Somerset & Wiltshire including the magnificent 35cwt octave at Westbury and, probably my favourite, Ditcheat!

Just a thought, weekday events for oldies groups fine, but didn't a branch practice ought to also cater for working/school age? Is it any wonder we can't attract younger ringers? Discussion point more than a criticism.
