francamente eu acho que seria mais útil pegar toda a grana alocada em jogo multiplayer/GaaS e redirecionar pra um programa de renda básica universal pra gamedev, porque se o dinheiro vai sumir de qualquer forma é melhor que os jogos lançados fiquem disponíveis pro público por mais de um mês

é inconcebível a quantidade de horas de trabalho de dezenas de pessoas que devem ter ido num update que vai existir por 9 dias e depois sumir da face da terra

The publisher being involved *shouldn't* matter as
- They should be paying for the bulk of costs
- They should be adding more revenues than they take in recoup / cuts

A lot of shoulds there as publishers are coming in much later than they should be now, so paying for less dev and adding less revs
