C.C. Golub, a junior who lives in the apartment that was broken into, said the unknown person entered her roommates room, then immediately left.

Riley Bryant, a W&L sophomore who lives in The Village, said she has now started locking her doors after the email was sent.

According to the email, a break-in occurred in The Village around 4 a.m.

W&L chief public safety officer said the incident occurred Sunday May 4, correcting the incorrect date said in the email, which was May 6.
