Dad #1 made them.

They’re just big industrial bibs from China which for some reason come in bright colours. You take them and cut the bottom 18 inches off to make them a smock - then cut and transplant that bottom off of one onto another as a pocket, contrasting the colours.

Absolutely can! Just makes you double babyish, which is doubly adorable.

Dad #1 can easily rest his chin on little guys head, so a solid 25cm or so.

Little Guy had lots of alone time this weekend, both dads were away separately. The first picture is good bye hugs with Number 1. The second picture is hugs with Number 2 now that he’s back. He was quite the snoozy boy so he’s all tucked up now!

Solid and robust parenting there, very much approved!

You’re going to want to find your welder, Some scaffolding, and a race car seat you can replicate with fiber glass…

Overall plate is 300/300 and radiused around the edge with a flap disk to prevent little fingers getting hurt, then coated in a etch primer as its mild steel so best for the rust, then thick black paint to make sure.

Tbh, not really in any useful way.

You can see 4 8mm holes at 200mm Center’s which are the chair mounting plates. These then became captive bolts (after I’d sprayed it 😒) to make mounting easier.

There are then some 6 mm holes which interface with the car seat. Fortunately these are 230mm apart

It’s this, or kidcore grade blown primary colour plastic furniture à la the 90’s Smoby school desk.

For those kiddos who need a school desk for colouring in, but need it to be wipe clean

Just add wine to dad #1, er voila!

It’s a standard office chair base, a special needs car seat and then a 3mm metal plate between the two.

One set of screws holes match the base and are welded in place as captive bolts so you don’t need to get a spanner between the plate, the other matches existing holes in the seat.
