Today is Election Day. I have spent the last 6 months getting to know the candidates on the Democratic slate in NY-17 and beyond. They are each committed to democracy, their communities, healthcare, gun safety and women’s’ rights.

7 years ago, 11 innocent Jewish lives were taken at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh in the deadliest antisemitic attack in our nation’s history. Now, more than ever, we must recommit to standing against antisemitism and hate wherever we find it. May their memories be a blessing.

Yesterday I attended the Chappaqua Book Fest for the first time not as a vendor or as a participant. It was an inspiring afternoon with hundreds of families and children so excited to see their favorite authors.

Last night I had the pleasure of supporting the Mount Kisco Childcare Center.

Childcare in our country is broken. It is time to overhaul the system to make sure every family can send their children to a safe environment.

A huge congratulations to my friend Christie for her well deserved honor.

On Thursday, Adam and I had the pleasure of attending the Hilltop Hanover Farm Fall Harvest Dinner.

The farm’s Food Donation Program partners with local food pantries, food banks, and community centers throughout Westchester County & beyond to provide locally grown food to families in need.

This is the right move by @kenjenkinsny.bsky.social.

The next step is finding alternative, non-nuclear and non-polluting uses for Indian Point, such as solar.

Judge blocks Trump administration’s ending of legal protections for 1.1M Venezuelans and Haitians Venezuelans whose temporary protections expired or were about to now have status to stay and work.

Trump tried to rip protections away from Haitian families. A judge stopped him.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. Eight years ago, I lost my cousin Alycia to a heroin overdose. I miss her every day.
