Very good for dampening sound, honestly

I gotta get a scanner for these, really, cause it's hard to really capture the sketch on camera otherwise. Still, real happy with how the new tools of the trade work! Here's hoping I find more time for these.

The epic door bend is cause I'm too lazy to straighten out the sketchbook for a photo, I promise.

Got around to testing new liners and pencils! Breezie here isn't particularly happy, but I think they work like a charm!

I think I'll be cutting that from base Darefell. Looking THAT ominous never really suit him.

There's always the worry of correct framing. Sure, you can dump some stuff online, but it won't have the same punch without proper build-up to it.

Interesting! I figured it would give the guy a bit of an "unkempt" look, a bit of a wild aspect, I suppose. I do see how it could work as an intimidation factor. Guy with hair this luscious is not to be messed with!

I think giving him a sort of a mane instead of strict spines works wonders, giving the goober a semblance of flowing hair while still retaining a hedgehog look. Being less strict about the head shape in general seems like a win. Also the imp guy gets an imp tail. I think that's only fair.

This is something I never really saw myself doing due to the sentimental value one of my oldest design holds, but his SEVEN rigid spines were so much of a pain that I ultimately decided to touch the look up a tad.

This drawing kinda has some fun trivia behind it:
A) Not the biggest Sage fan, so it's my first time drawing her ever, and I feel giving her a bit of a redesign made me slighly warm up to the character;
B) The exact evening I drew this, they announced her for the IDW comics, not even kidding. Wild.

The not so distant future, a certain AI at the helm of the empire finds herself inspecting... rather unorthodox methods of improvement!
