It’s changed as the Stars have gotten bigger. For sure. Lots of of business bros in the stands now. But football is king in Texas and was the sport the cool kids did. Hockey was quite niche back then, and myself and my friends who were into it were all nerds

Gotta admit, I'm a little confused about the current men's hockey discourse. I grew up in Minnesota & every boy hockey player I ever knew was a bully. For example, I was once pinned against a locker and threatened with violence by the varsity hockey captain who later played in the NHL. Fun times.

A lot of people paid attention to hockey for the first time on Sunday and didn’t know. Also if you don’t grow up in a traditional hockey area you may not see it. In Dallas, hockey was the alternative weird kid sport growing up. Wasn’t til I moved up here that I saw the more prominent hockey culture

Yep my Anglicization of it would be to say “Kahsh” more like the end of “Akash.” My instinct would not be “cash”
