twice today, when pressured, Stripe operators have said, plainly, that i cannot use stripe for the purchase of LGBTQ content. not just adult content, but explicitly LGBTQ.

Gotta say, Stripe customer service just straight up saying "we don't support the sale of any LGBT content" was not on my bingo card for this campaign. Hopefully this will be getting lots of attention from all over soon! Tell any journalists and rights orgs you know about it today!

A source reached out to me claiming MasterCard contacted Riot Games about the ongoing Steam/itchio controversy. MasterCard is a major Riot esports sponsor. This is the message going around internally from Riot, paraphrased: * MasterCard has asked Riot to keep an eye out for negative sentiments on official Riot streams * Riot has asked esports content creators working with official Riot properties to watch out for any negative sentiments toward MasterCard * Moderators have been told to look out for any unusual activity around the MasterCard issue

That is the sad world playing Azorius control lives in, as someone who plays Azorius Vehicles. Doesn't help that all of the cards that might proc from something leaving graveyard are at mana value 3 or so.

That's a fair point. I think it's ability to allow for safer combats while also damn near freely triggering Krile's ability with just the tiniest poke cannot be understated, as well as just how easy it could be to fill the graveyard with such low mana value cards.

This could work just as well.

The value this card makes cannot be understated in a deck like this, one that wants to be drawing noncreatures but throwing creatures into the grave/just bringing them because for their wonderful value

Sunblessed Healer is also a potentially good option to recur noncreature permanents, especially when you find yourself with too much mana to spare

Benevolent Geist is also a fun Mana Value 2 counterspell on a stick, with a nice backside as well should you find yourself against someone trying to stop your recursion cycles

Also I swear I saw Runechanter's Pike in here a moment ago, and if you're running it and don't mind further Universes Beyond stuff, try Glamdring as an upgrade/alternative.

🍇i was going to write about how terrified i was upon seeing that every card in the deck is mana value 2, and then I saw Gilded Drake. You. You scare me. The fact as well that the usual symmetrical graveyard stax pieces don't hurt the deck is incredible. Makes me want to build Stax.

🍇 I'm a little biased and kinda actually like the stuff built for Commander (besides freerunning, let rogues have that) but jank is what built this format and should be celebrated. The moment people spoke more and more about optimizing, the people forgot what it was about.
