I want to prototype so much but school has me so busy!!! waaaaah

I really want to dive deep in learning more about movement and player controllers soon, because I have to say, I think the top thing I really enjoy in games is a dynamic movement system. I watched someone start DDD the other day and Flowmotion has my brain going 100mph

Really enjoying working in Unreal nowadays, I just mesh with the workflow so much better. Visual scripting just makes the brain flow in a better way.

In other news, I have learned the power of fixed textures for easier scaling with maps and I'm so powerful now

Mental health is wickedly better then it was earlier this year. Straight A semester (passing the two weed out classes with high As), and about to get out of the state for a bit in a few weeks to see a very old friend and my best friends again for a little.

it gets you into such a flow lol, that was genuinely the best day I've had in awhile. I know some of the people who were there will see this, Hi and thanks for being there, I'll definitely stream more in progress stuff.

Also also had my first time ever last week of doing a dev stream while I worked in engine, and having a bunch of friends surround me and watch me work intently... omg I finally understand the feeling and how

and my future as a developer. I'm thankful for all the experience I do have from the project I spent six years of my life working on and how I'm able to apply it to real stuff now. It's surreal to be working with people in the industry now. It's exciting!

knowing that this was the correct place for me to be. I used to major in music education, and it never felt right. But y'know, as I'm sitting here scripting my silly little character to do silly things, somehow it all clicked together. Super looking forward to finishing the rest of my degree
