I see that there are (at least) two different versions of what has happened, and I choose to enjoy the music regardless of which one is mostly correct :)

Almost exactly my thoughts yesterday. I remember not being a fan of the vocals. Both his voice and the vocal lines seemed a bit unimaginative. The music is good though.
