So I just spent a night out in Manhattan and it’s like there wasn’t even a once in a decade blizzard yesterday. Everything is back to normal.

Yeah you should be good then! Bring some boots! It’ll be a bit annoying but the city actually recovers really well from big snow storms. We kinda just get on with things.

Usually international flights recover pretty quick. By Wednesday I imagine they’ll be back fairly back to normal. If you’re connecting somewhere in the US and then coming into NYC things will be a mess for probably a week.

There’s a little more snow coming later in the week. But it should be warming up a bit too. Problem is gonna be the mountains of snow on all the sidewalks and corners. I’ve never seen this much snow here, it’s wild.

The high temperature in Minneapolis the last few days hasn’t gone above 0°F (-18°C). These people are braving intense cold to stand up for their communities. This is what patriotism looks like.

I used the gates in CDG (transfer from Schengen to Int’l flight) and even though that particular checkpoint was very quiet and the whole process was quick, watching people try and use the gates was PAINFUL. WHEN people figured out how to put their passport in, reading times were painfully slow.
