What is Educational Psychology?
Proudly presented by APA Division 15. Narration by Dr. Jeff Greene. What is Educational Psychology?

If you've been wondering how people learn, or how things like GenAI affect how people learn, or how to help people teach and learn effectively, then you should talk to an educational psychologist. #PsychSciSky #AcademicSky #EduSky

Where do folks publish new educational measures these days?

I've been designing instruments to make it possible to quickly assess motivation and knowledge in classrooms, but now discover that it is nearly impossible to find a (Q1) journal in education that will review them.

Any leads?

How Trump’s Proposed NIH Cuts Expose One of the Worst-Kept Secrets in Academia When schools suddenly lose a bunch of money, they’ll look for ways to make up the difference.

Support for research drives US innovation *and* makes college more affordable: "The money that colleges and universities stand to lose is actually ... helping slow down the rising cost of college and providing desperately needed opportunity for lower-income students."

Terracotta is a "plug-in" for Canvas LMS that makes it easy for researchers to conduct a randomized control study in classroom settings. Now it comes w/ new cool features (e.g., Qualtrics integration). Though the Canvas integration takes some time/effort, it is FREE, & they give you a lot of help.
