When you’re making $23k a year, losing $1600 is “are we paying for food or for the house or for medical bills” territory.

Harvey Fierstein has used art to uplift, to educate, to protest, to challenge, to speak up and speak out. This is the power and burden of art. It's why those who seek to control and subjugate attempt to erase it. There is courage in creation that those who seek to limit it will never understand.

Please remember that you can't trust any politician who's willing to deny trans people their rights.

That kind of "leader" will throw any and all of us under the bus if they think it benefits them.
