@paulakrieg.bsky.social this pattern is very interesting, the 8 pointed star are approximation since one of the side is sqrt(2) while other side is 1. There is one book by Vera ( not remember the full name) that mentions that similar patterns are appearing in Alhambra both exact and approximation.
