At @momath.bsky.social for #moves2025 conference. Excited for all the amazing talks and activities ( which I have one relative to Islamic geometric patterns).

I am assuming the grid is square. But this is very beautiful pattern. Will share more similar to this here.

@paulakrieg.bsky.social this pattern is very interesting, the 8 pointed star are approximation since one of the side is sqrt(2) while other side is 1. There is one book by Vera ( not remember the full name) that mentions that similar patterns are appearing in Alhambra both exact and approximation.
