It was something like 10 years ago now when I taught my first course at Concordia University.

Holding that course pack for RELI 210 fresh off the press was really something.

Teaching didn't pan out after earning my PhD (job market for academics is bad, bad, bad).

But one can dream.

I routinely get interesting questions thrown my way about Marvel comics and life in general thanks to my daughter.

Her: "Is the Hulk always angry?"
Me: "Yup."
Her: "Why?"
Me: "Bad guys make him angry."
Her: "Why?"
Me: "Because they're bad."
Her: "They should stop being bad."

Yes, they should.

Gotta love how ordering food in India puts everything to shame back home.

I picked up 15 dumplings and a full serving of hakka noodles (Indo-Chinese chow mein).

After tip, tax, delivery fee, it was about the equivalent of $5.

And it took about 18 minutes to arrive.

Ever notice how when you're travelling you get hit with everything all at once?

It's probably more often than they should.

How often do they follow up by total clicks and then stop the report right there?

Ouch.

A marketing client heavily invested in a local media agency (before I had any say in the matter, trust me).

They promised BIG RESULTS.

I asked the media agency to send us a performance report after the campaign.

If you guessed it was entirely about how many "impressions" they earned - winner!

My daughter and I were recently reading some old school X-Men comics.

Her: "Why does Magneto always capture Professor X?"
Me: "Why do you think he does?"
Her: "Maybe are they in love?"
