Well today my mum (one Prof Elaine Hay) got an MBE for services to medical research! Absolutely incredible day, and the staff at Windsor castle were incredibly friendly.
Mum had a good old chat with Prince William and then made friends with several beefeaters.
Amazing times.
My mum is getting an MBE for services to medical research! Absolutely amazingly deserved, she’s changed the landscape of her field.
