Community members have been monitoring the activity of immigration agents in Greater Portland.
Journalists going on observer ride-alongs are important not just to show what ICE doing (violence, grabbing people, targeting specific observers, etc) but also (more importantly!) giving models for what people do in response.

The entire administration's position 48 hours ago was that ICE had the right to commit extrajudicial murder and they had the right to lie about it.
Hegseth explicitly said ICE was more important than the entire state of Minnesota.
