Well, it's #SmileSunday!

This is an old picture of Rin, seeing as it's difficult to get all fixed up in a Marsh....But it is her!

While Rin is checking on them, Flare watches from a distance....

He's checking for more Carnivine.

When Rin sees Ayita diving at the Carnivine, she flinches a little bit...She wasn't expecting that at all! Soon the plant Pokemon seems to run, as Ayita and mystery girl fall to the ground..

"Ayita!"

Rin runs towards the two of them, while Flare climbs down from the tree he was on.-

Though it was feeble, it definitely gave Flare and Ayita enough time to attack! Rin was still a new trainer, so Ember was likely not doing a whole lot of damage.

This...might be their first battle technically.

"Ember again!..."

The flames hit the top of the Carnivine's head over and over!

"Okay...Be careful, Ayita!.."

Rin watched as Ayita dashed forward to help, soon returning her focus to Flare, who was just itching to battle!

Deep breath....They can do this, right?

"..Okay...Flare, again!...Ember!.."

"Chiiiiiiiiiiiim!"

Another barrage of ember is sent at the Carnivine,-

She'd call out, more fire being spat out at the Bug Catcher Pokemon! Rin is sure to stay close to Ayita just in case there were more...

Rin looked ahead at Ayita as she took that defensive stance in front of her...Carnivine? She'd never seen one in person before, but that was a grass type! Right?

"She needs help...Flare!..."

Now that the Pokemon was focused on the other girl...Maybe Flare can get a hit in?

"Keep your distance,-

she spots Flare gazing down at something from above...

"Chim?"

"Flare! Erm...Ember!..."

"Chimchar!"

She couldn't see what it was, but at least they could follow the ember to find whoever they were following...Flare spits out a flame at the Carnivine!

While Ayita and Rin are tracking whoever might be here, a few thoughts run through her mind...It could be someone else who'd been let into the safari zone...

Before she can really think it through any further, though, a scream echoes through the Marsh.

Frantically looking around for a moment,-

"Someone else?...I'll...I'll hide behind Ayita to be safe...."

"..Sleeping with Ayita was really comfy...I haven't slept that well since I left home.."

"I..mm.."

Rin seemed to look away for a brief moment to compose herself, taking a deep breath before continuing.

"I'm new to it too...Not as new as you are, but...You could never frighten me..I don't think so, at least.."

She'll gently squeeze at Ayita's hand...Rin definitely saw Ayita as the-

Rin hugs Ayita back, smiling back at her for a moment before her face turns a deep red.

Was...Was that going to be a reward?

"I-I...Ah..."

She's stumbling over her words....

"Y-Yes!...I mean....I..I would like that!.."

...Hopefully Ayita didn't think her excitement there was strange.

Rin seemed to pause when it came to the idea of climbing a tree alone...It always seemed scary....

But Ayita was taking this step for her....She could take one for Ayita!

"I...I can try! But....stay close?.."

Well...This whole situation must have been weird to Rin! Between actually going outside and meeting someone nice in the wilderness..

Weird wasn't exactly a bad thing!

"I'll do my part to take care of you too!...We'll protect each other, okay?"

Seeing Ayita be this enthusiastic about it..It only makes Rin want to spend time with her even more!

"I...I'd really like that too!...I..If it goes well...Maybe we can sleep together more often too?.."

Her own heart is racing as she's held close by Ayita...Especially as the idea of sleeping together is brought up.

"I...can we? I..I want to stay close!.."

She manages to admit, figuring that it was worth a try! It was probably safer too, right?

As improper as this might be...Rin didn't seem to be complaining. She seemed to laugh a little bit after a moment.

"..Aha... I'll do my best to take care of you too!.. Let's..... Let's go see the world together!..~"

Rin leaned a bit closer to Ayita, happy about how things were turning out!

Rin was probably looking a little rough herself right now...Her hair was likely a bit of a mess. As she's pulled closer, she brings an arm around Ayita.

"...Are you saying that you'll come with me?.."

There's a bit of a sparkle in Rin's eyes as she hears that from Ayita.

hands inch closer, Rin presses her palm against Ayita's....soon intertwining their fingers.

"...It really is...But...Whenever I think about it.."

Rin seems to avert her gaze as her blush darkens just a little bit.

"...I think about how much less scary it is with...you....A-And then I wonder what it'd be like...To experience that world with you?...I probably sound so silly.."

As their-

....She doesn't elaborate on her thoughts after this, possibly overthinking a little....Was she being too selfish? Ayita would tell her if she was, right?

There's another pause from Rin as she processes Ayita's words...She takes a moment before offering her hand to her friend.

".... I'm sorry if I sound selfish...But...Maybe you can come with me?..I mean.."

She takes a deep breath to compose herself.

"...We could maybe see the world together?..-

finding the right words.

"..I don't think I would've enjoyed it without you?...People are scary....and erm... you're not.."

".....I can kind of relate?..."

Rin fell silent for a moment after that....Did that mean they'd have to say goodbye soon?..

...Somehow, that felt wrong...

"...Things are....different outside....But..I think I'm glad? I got to meet you! And...I.."

Oh gosh...She was having trouble-

Focusing her gaze back on Ayita, the pinkette's face was glowing a light shade of red as she nodded.

"Yeah!....I mean...I think I've gotten used to things here?.."

A large part of that was thanks to Ayita herself... Things had become just a bit more comfortable with her.
