Tasogare Rin

Rin breathes a sigh of relief when she hears Ayita brushing it off...It seems like she's forgiven!

"For the night? But..."

She takes a moment before nodding..It couldn't hurt!

"Okay!...I'll be in your care then, Ayita!"

She says while accepting the redhead's grip. She trusts Ayita!

"She doesn't...."

Rin would explain, knowing that she often worked with her father more often than not....At least when she did work.

"It's weird. I'll make sure you don't go back inside! I feel awful about catching you...I-I mean, not that I wouldn't want you around! You...You seem really kind!"

"Yeah...I'll have to ask my mother about it.."

She'd say quietly while thinking about what to do...There weren't any side effects to this, were there? She looks towards Ayita with a worried expression.

"It...wasn't uncomfortable for you, was it?"

the Pokeball, climbing up on Rin and allowing her to take it.

"I...still don't understand how this happened though..."

"Oh....It must have been really tough out here."

Rin glances around, figuring that it couldn't be easy growing up here. Even she knew that wild encounters were dangerous without a Pokemon of your own...

"It sounds like you've been in safe hands though!.."

After a moment, Flare runs over with-

"And....your parents? They do this with you?"

So far, Ayita seems to be nice to talk to as well! Though a little strange....It wasn't bad though!

"You do all that for yourself? That's amazing..."

Wait...Is she still sitting on Ayita's lap? Rin begins to lift herself up! She doesn't want to make her new friend uncomfortable after all.-

"You....live here?.."

Rin would question, being confused at what Ayita had meant. Rudey must be another human at the very least, right?

"Is....that allowed?.."

She questioned quietly....Though, she quickly stops herself.

"Oh, sorry! That was rude...You..live around here, right?"

"I don't know what happened..."

She'd admit to Ayita, a small frown forming on her face...Did she mess up? Did the catch even count? Rin is afraid to even check...

"Ah...You were probably here for the Safari zone, right?.."

She didn't mean to ruin another trainer's trip!.....Ayita definitely-

"I'm not...entirely sure?...Did I catch you?.."

Rin looked back towards Ayita, letting go of her now...What did any of this mean?

"It's supposed to only work on Pokemon..."

With her arms still wrapped around Ayita, Rin pulls back just enough to look at the redhead properly.

"Ayita.....My name is Tasogare Rin! But...Please...Just call me Rin!"

Rin would glance over to the ball that Flare had been messing with....She wish she had an answer for Ayita...But she was just-

wrap around the other girl....She was really scared back there. The Chimchar would wander over to the ball, curiously staring at it.

When Rin heard Ayita speak...It was like she was filled with some sort of confidence. Confidence that she'd be okay!

The redhead wasn't going to let her go. As soon as she's out, she takes a moment to stare at the other girl..She was out.

"...Thank you.....Thank you!"

Her arms almost immediately-

new pokémon trainers?!

Rin can't help but stare at Ayita as she's slowly pulled towards her. She'd thought the outside world would actually be really scary....

That's what she'd heard at least...But today? Today she got to meet someone really kind.

"...I do...I trust you!"

Rin gazed at the branch for a moment before nodding. Hopefully, her grip would be strong enough! The pinkette reaches out for the branch, taking hold of it.

Her life was in Ayita's hands right now....and....strangely enough, Rin felt like she could trust her.

"I've....I've got it!.."

It'd take a minute or two, but Chimchar does eventually manage to drag it over to the redhead!

There's just a small nod from Rin, while she watches Flare and the girl speak to each other...Did they...know each other?

"Chim, chimchar!"

There's a nod, confirming that the Chimchar was Rin's friend! It'd soon begin climbing a tree.....After a moment, it'd climb down, having spotted a fallen-

with her Chimchar! How long had it been since she'd spoken to someone outside of her family?

...Had she ever?

Was...Rin going crazy? A human didn't just come out of that ball, right? Wasn't that.....

No, she couldn't question it right now. Once the redhead told her to stay calm, Rin seemed to stop.

"O-Okay.....What....do I do now?.."

Her voice was quiet...It wasn't at all like it was when she was just-

"Chim!"

Now moving towards the ball, the Chimp Pokémon would press on the button, allowing the ball to pop open, releasing whatever was inside!

That would have to wait, she was still actively sinking after all! Rin reaches out for the ball, struggling from where she is.

"Flare! Hit the button!"

She'd call out to her starter.-

have to apologize later....That thought wouldn't cross her mind until after she'd thrown the ball.

Flare almost immediately glances in the other's direction, it's flame flaring up....Was it a threat? Rin could only think to do one thing.....She'd swing her arm, the ball flying in the direction of the bushes!

If it was a Pokemon.....Maybe it can help her out of here! If it's a human....She'll-

"Someone....help!"

The pinkette calls out, tears beginning to form in her eyes.

"Chim! Chimchar!"

The fire type cries out as it watches Rin struggle in the marsh....Rin reaches into her bag, pulling out a ball....It seemed just like a normal PokéBall....But her mother said it'd help her at some point, right?

She knows there isn't anything in it, so all she can do is clutch-

As they venture deeper in, the grass begins to disappear....That probably wasn't a good sign, was it? Before long, it was much harder to move.

And then all of a sudden? She drops further into the marsh, and Flare leaps to some nearby land...no doubt to avoid getting wet.

"H...Hey....I can't move!"
