A cassette of the Locas mixtape, which features Jaime Hernandez’s classic original cover art of a live show of the Jerusalem Crickets from Love & Rockets #24. Cover is is in the style of those old Historia de la Musica Rock compilations and was designed by Jordan Crane and art directed by Gabe Soria.

Yes, I am actually, FINALLY dubbing 120 minute cassettes of my Locas mixtape, which includes every piece of (real) diegetic music featured in the Locas stories in the original 50 issues of Love & Rockets. Cover art by Jaime (natch), cover design by Jordan Crane. Two down, many more to go…

To this day my wife and I joke, “we only accept serious submissions”. 😂

Years later Dick retired and ended up inking this poster I drew for Defiant Comics.

He was awesome and told us it was the most fun he ever had inking.

Sal Buscema turns 90 today. There's hardly a Marvel character Sal hasn't left his mark on, from Cap to the Hulk, Avengers to Thor. Working with Sal for two years on Spectacular Spider-Man remains a highlight of my career. And the best part? He's not just a great artist, he's a truly good guy.
