This is really interesting. There is evidence for strong natural selection on titin (striated muscle elastic component) in snakes and other Squamata/Toxicofera -- especially in wide-gaped snakes. Which makes sense biomechanically. link.springer.com/article/10.1...

Rendered out a test shot of this vocalising Cryolophosaurus! It's all a bit janky and I have a lot to learn, but it is so fun working in Blender that I can see myself doing loads more of these little shorts.

A robustly built Carcharodontosaurus stands on a white background, posed in a relaxed stance that shows off its muscular body and clawed hands. It has a three-toned countershaded pattern, black on top, grey-blue in the middle, and a cream underside. The crests above its eyes blue, and its eye is a piercing red.
An Argentinosaurus with an alert posture strides across a white background. It has a long, whip-like tail that ends in black and white bands. Its head is held high, adorned with a similar pattern as the tail. The rest of its muscular body is patterned with terracotta browns decorated with yellow streaks and black spots.
Here's a sneak preview of the upcoming Jurassic World Institute Dinopedia artwork article, to give you an idea of just how high-quality the images I've received are. This is Carcharodontosaurus and Argentinosaurus, two of the dozens of animals Timothy Bradley illustrated for the JP Institute site!

π΄π΅NEW VIDEO!!!π΄π΅
In the early 2010's, Extra Credits was a pioneering channel in creating more intelligent analysis of video games and their design. But nowadays, the channel is largely forgotten in favor of their history content.
Here's how corporatism has taken its toll on Extra Credits:
"Two charismatic marsupial species that had been thought extinct for 6,000 years are alive in rainforest in remote West Papua."
Oh yeah this is super cool as both the pygmy long-fingered possum and ring-tailed glider were previously only known from fossils π€―π§ͺπ

I've received a good number of comments saying that I consider too many games I've talked about all-time favourites, but having a list of about 100 games out of the couple of thousand I've played in my lifetime shouldn't be that difficult a concept to grasp. I just like a lot of different things.

My problem with modern gaming - modern tech, products, services, anything really - is that you aren't the customer.
You are a user. A consumer.
The actual customers are the investors & business guys. And I think that's f* up.
