Droits de douane de Trump : «Ceci n'est pas un accord» Selon Cecilia Malmström, qui a dû négocier avec la première administration Trump, l’Union s’est engagée à Turnberry sur une voie particulièrement dangereuse. Au-delà de la capitulation sans résistance, la Commission a surtout pris le risque de présenter comme un « accord » une discussion dont tous les termes peuvent encore totalement changer. En menaçant hier d’augmenter les droits de douane si l’Europe ne lui donnait pas directement 600 milliards de dollars, Trump vient tranquillement de s’engouffrer dans la brèche — ouvrant une nouvelle phase d’incertitude.
