Loads of the Vault of Terror was filmed near me. I found the house that Terry Thomas’s story was filmed in near Esher, though it was knocked down last year and had been rebuilt. Wonder if they knew the history behind it?

Got a couple of those houses on our road and up until recently there was a nonce on the road too (old neighbour was an ex-copper who delighted in telling people on the street).

It got to the point where people would drive to the bottom of the road and drop their kids is off. One year the police had to get involved to stop the traffic as it got too dangerous!

Ha ha ha! Someone said that the first time I had a crew cut at 21… now I go into the barbers. Ask for a number 2 all over and relish the fact it take 10 mins tops to have a cut.
I would however always love to go back to those luxuriant hair days of yore if I could.
