On the one hand, I could explain to you that I'm broadly overeducated, eternally online, and a parent; but it's easier just to tell you that this is the funniest thing I've seen in years:

I've had people do this to me and it totally worked! Running it in reverse is still a little scary though.

It's hard to make new friends after age 22 but it's not impossible, you just have to work at it. Strike up conversations even though it feels awkward. Extend invitations first. (Accept rejection gracefully.)

Over the summer I got obsessed with the idea of embroidering a snake. This would have been so useful in making it look like a real snake instead! So many choices!!

But hey, the semester is still young and I'm sure I'll get *something* soon.

Considering the number of elementary school students and college students I interacted with in those ten days this is practically a miracle.

Major achievement of 2025 so far: Getting the flu shot in early January and then *not* getting the flu in the next ten days (before immunity kicked in).
